Hello! I'm Emily. Here are some quick facts about me:

• I'm a UX Designer and most recently worked on a B2B cloud infrastructure platform, building off previous experience designing complex cybersecurity enterprise software. My roles consisted of end to end design - I love seeing projects through from the beginning research phase to design to implementation.
• I began my academic career in mechanical engineering before transitioning into UX design during graduate school. Today, I blend analytical thinking with creative problem-solving to understand and tackle complex challenges in my work.
• I first discovered UX design while studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. Scandinavian design of products, systems, and spaces was inspiring, and helped me discover the fact that people have careers creating these experiences.
• In my free time I love to stay active by swimming, playing disc golf, reading, and occasionally creating fun vlogs on Youtube about my life and experiences.
